Ninthway High Secure Radio Network (HSRN)
Ninthway developed a High Secure Radio Network, suitable for high end applications that demand 100% reliability.
The network consists of repeaters and gateways that form the wireless communication infrastructure.
All kinds of safety, security and building control systems can be connected to this network.
Due to its high reliability and large capacity, the network is very suitable for wireless fire alarm systems and body area networks in hospitals and other healthcare institutions.
The network is designed to meet EN 54-25, the European standard for wireless fire alarm systems.
Ninthway Transceiver Module
The network is built around the Ninthway Transceiver Module (NTM). Ninthway developed the NTM especially for high end applications and therefore based it on the following principles:
- High data rate
- DSSS technology -> non sensitive for co users in the band
- Low power consumption
- 32 bit microprocessor to be able to handle complex applications
Concept
Multi path transmission
The Ninthway High Secure Radio Network is a multi path relay network. The integrity of the link is guaranteed by the use of multiple routes between transmitter and transceiver (device and base station). It is a non node network.
The combination of network architecture and transceiver technology, makes it a very reliable solution with large capacity.
Despite the high data frame density, reliability is guaranteed!
Advantages non node network
- High reliability by redundancy in transmission paths
- Ultra low power requirements for devices - power for life solutions feasible!
- Ultra low latency in data transmission between device and base station. Ideal for audio applications!
- High network efficiency alows large number of devices (4.000-5.000 per system)
Advantages use DSSS
- Low power consumption
- Provides a high capacity on bandwith
